runner-up

Dr. Avinash Viswanath "would have been winner, but the diagnosis was known" - JCB

Prize: $10 Starbucks Gift Certificate

JCB: "Patient had PMH of HTN, presented with epigastric pain and and vomiting. Thoracic-abdominal aortic dissection found on CT Angio, re-demonstrated on bedside US. [We have had several cases of AAA and/or dissection picked up on bedside US first. The sensitivity is not high enough to do alone, but certainly can change management if you see dissection prior to definitive imaging]."
